Group Therapy
The beauty of group therapy is that you receive the support you need from others who may have similar presenting concerns, all while in the safety of a trained group therapist. The goal is to feel validated, to gain strength and to learn new coping skills thru the vehicle of hearing one another’s stories, problem solving together, role-playing and developing insight. Our groups range from Social Skills, Anger Management, and Bereavement to Body Image and Self Esteem Improvement, Women’s Issues, Divorce Support and more.\
Individual Therapy
Embarking on a journey for self-awareness, one often seeks individual therapy with the intention of healing past wounds, exploring current stressors, and setting goals for a successful future. This is all done in a safe, confidential and caring environment with a highly trained therapist who serves as your guide and support system from week to week. Varying modalities are offered, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, relaxation techniques, mindfulness and more.
Family Therapy
When conflicts arise within a family, everyone is impacted, family dynamics often shift and change, and communication can get lost. When sitting with a trained therapist, each family member feels supported and heard, as issues are worked through together. Therapists strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your family to address concerns and receive the support needed to heal and improve their rapport.
Couple’s Therapy
Couples come into therapy when the atmosphere between them is charged and their usual way of responding to each other has turned into anger and disappointment. The anger usually covers up a great deal of pain in the relationship. Couple’s therapy assists the couple to better hear the other’s pain and to understand their own part in the couple’s difficulty. The well trained couple’s therapist will stop the cycle of arguing to help the couple more deeply understand what is going on between them in the safe environment of the therapy room.
Nutrition
Individual & Family Nutrition Counseling is done is with compassion, support and understanding by a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. You will learn to embrace healthy eating as a lifestyle change and make more mindful choices, while addressing your health and medical concerns. Through education and motivation during your sessions, you will develop goals and strategies to move forward and make positive changes for your health and wellness.
